PINGMEE is a fun, low-pressure way to connect with nearby people in real-time! When you see someone interesting, send them a ping. If they ping you back, you’ve matched and a private chat opens up specifically for you two.

Yes, PINGMEE is completely free! There are no paid services, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. All features are available to everyone at no cost.

Go to your profile by tapping your avatar in the header, then tap the camera icon on your profile picture. You can take a new photo or choose one from your library.

Usernames cannot be changed after account creation to maintain consistency and prevent impersonation. If you have a compelling reason to change yours, contact support.

Go to Settings > Account Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, matches, and message history. This action cannot be undone.

When you send a ping, it goes to nearby users who match your filters. If someone pings back, you become matches and can start messaging. Distance and shared interests improve match quality.

Try expanding your search radius or adjusting your filters. Make sure you're visible in searches (Settings > Safety & Privacy > Appear in Searches). Being in populated areas at active times helps too.

When you unmatch, the conversation is removed for both users. They will no longer appear in your matches list and cannot message you unless you match again.

If you're having trouble seeing your messages, try these steps: • Check your internet connection • Pull down to refresh the conversation • Force close and reopen the app • Make sure you're on the latest app version If messages still don't load, try signing out and signing back in. If the issue persists, contact support with details about when the problem started.

Yes! PINGMEE uses industry-standard security to protect your messages. All communications use TLS encryption (the same technology banks use), and your messages are encrypted at rest in our secure database. We take your privacy seriously and follow best practices to keep your conversations safe.

Currently, PINGMEE supports text messages. Photo and voice message features are planned for future updates. Stay tuned!

No one can see your exact location. PINGMEE uses approximate distances (e.g., "2 miles away") for matching. Your precise coordinates are never shared with other users.

Go to Settings > Safety & Privacy > Appear in Searches and toggle it off. You'll be hidden from ping results but can still message existing matches.

We collect your profile info, approximate location for matching, and usage analytics. Messages are protected with industry-standard security (TLS encryption + secure storage). You can request a copy of your data in Settings > Privacy & Data.

Tap the three dots on their profile or in a conversation, then select "Report". Choose a category that best describes the issue and provide any additional details. Our team reviews all reports.

When you block someone, they cannot find you in searches, send you messages, or view your profile. Existing matches are removed. They won't be notified that you blocked them.

Always meet in public places, tell a friend your plans, trust your instincts, and don't share personal info too quickly. Video chat before meeting in person when possible.

Try closing and reopening the app, checking your internet connection, or restarting your device. Make sure you have the latest app version. Clear the app cache if issues persist.

Check that notifications are enabled in your device settings for PINGMEE. Also ensure you've granted notification permissions in the app. Background app refresh should be enabled.

Update to the latest version from the App Store/Play Store. If crashes continue, try reinstalling the app. Contact support with your device model and iOS/Android version for help.
